In May 2003, the State of California certified
a new profession, Sexological Bodywork that uses breath work and
erotic touch as educational tools. I am the first Australian to
receive this training from the Institute of the Advanced Study
of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, USA.
At all times
during a session I am fully clothed
and in total respect of my clients boundaries. I
do not act as a surrogate partner. Many women (and
men) have never been touched with presence, total
acceptance and with no agenda.
This type of
touch combined with conscious breathwork can
allow amazing healing of the body's stored shame and can lead to
greater erotic energy and pleasure. By using Taoist methods we
can enter into deep
erotic trance states.
I still
remember my first Taoist Erotic Massage. During
the massage I had my doubts that it would work
for me. Then at the end I felt my body flood with
energy. It was tingling all over. Then I felt my
consciousness go deeply inward and I perceived
angelic beings massaging me. After the massage I
asked my bodyworker if she had been touching me at
this point and she said no.
Everyone's
experience in this massage is different.
Generally it is my experience that one needs a
few sessions to go deeper into trance states.

In my first session I help the client to
clarify their goals and their
intentions. We sign an agreement about the type
of session and both agree on our boundaries. Informed consent
from the client precedes all Sexological Bodywork, and professional
confidentiality is assured. The client or couple
will usually see me for a series of 3-8 sessions
and then practice with what they have learned.
Clients may then return for individual sessions
as needed.
I often give homework assignments.
I
like to call them pleasure assignments!
They beat the old school homework assignments any

develops over time.

twenty years of teaching, my most
profound experiences have involved a form
